Albu & Associates, Inc. (formerly Albu, Inc.) has been in business since 1994. We are a boutique firm that provides “big company” experience and service, without the “big company” rigidity and detachment. Our mission is to give our clients peace of mind by proactively leading and collaborating with all participating teams to construct a superior product, as expeditiously and cost-efficiently as possible. Our services include construction management, general contracting, design/build, owner representation, inspection and consulting.
Albu & Associates is licensed by the State of Florida to provide general contracting (CGC057169), professional engineering (PE0031560), and special inspection (1057) services. The company is certified as a Minority Business Enterprise in the State of Florida, Orange County, Volusia County and the City of Orlando.

George’s career encompasses thirty-nine years of domestic and international experience in engineering and construction. George founded Albu & Associates in 1994, and continues to be personally involved in each project from the selection of team members through the completion of construction.Prior to forming Albu & Associates, George worked 13 years for general contractors in Central Florida. As a Project Manager, he had complete managerial and fiscal responsibility for numerous construction projects, many of which were presented with awards by area professional associations.
George gained experience in the international market by working for the Arabian American Oil Company for six years. Based in Saudi Arabia, he was responsible for the design and construction of more than $100 million of commercial, industrial, petroleum and recreational facilities.
George is known for his high level of professionalism, strong management and organizational skills, and his sense of fairness.

Bob has twenty four years of construction experience specializing in professional project management. Prior to joining Albu & Associates, Inc. Bob spent sixteen years with general contractors in the Central Florida area as Superintendent and Project Manager on specialty projects such as museums, banks, churches and apartment buildings. The projects ranged in value from $1 million to $34 million, and included clients such as STRANG communications, Orlando Museum of Art, Rollins College and (the former) Barnett Bank. Bob has completed numerous courses in OSHA and holds a business degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Bob has a track record of successfully completing projects while maintaining a professional, agreeable relationship with clients.
| Mike Henry | Senior Superintendent |
Mike brings thirty-five years of construction experience to Albu & Associates, Inc. He is OSHA certified and a SBCCI certified building inspector. Mike is responsible for all phases of construction including layout, blueprint interpretation, scheduling and coordination of all subcontractors and material suppliers.
Prior to joining Albu & Associates, Inc. Mike was a superintendent for twenty four years with general contractors in the Central Florida area. Projects included apartments, churches, schools, hospitals and banks ranging in value from $3 million to $28 million. Clients included Rollins College, Florida Hospital and Health Management.
As a result of Mike’s diligence, experience and dedication, projects are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the client’s standards of quality.

With more then than eight years experience in the industry, Jason leads Albu and Associates’ Marketing, Business Development and MBE Management efforts. Under Jason’s leadership, the company has achieved the status of one of the Top 25 Construction companies in Central Florida. Jason was recently named in the prestigious Top 40 Under 40 ranked by the Orlando Business Journal. Jason is a member of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers local program planning committee and sits on the Board of Directors for the Central Florida Chapter of the Society of Marketing Professional Services. Jason is a graduate of the University of Florida and is OSHA 10-Hour Certified.
Jason involves himself not only in the Florida construction industry, but is also active in helping charities and organizations in the Central Florida community including A Gift For Teaching and the Maitland Historical Society.

Andrew has more than six years experience in the commercial construction industry, including pre-construction services, estimating, field foreman, superintendent, safety manager, project engineer and project manager. He specializes in Albu & Associates, Inc. core fields of Retail, Office and Banks. Andrew is a LEED Accredited Professional, licensed real estate agent, has completed Leadership Orlando, OSHA Construction Outreach trainer, and has prior job experience with SPACEHAB for NASA – ISS Data Integration PM. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Florida.

With nine years of construction experience in Central Florida, Eric is a new addition to the Albu & Associates team. He has worked on a range of different construction projects as a Project Engineer and Project Manager, including the Pop Century hotel at Walt Disney World, Orange County Middle and Elementary schools, the Seaside Music Theater in Daytona Beach, and the Reunion Grande Condo/Hotel in Reunion, FL. He has experience in both General Contracting and Construction Management performing pre-construction services, managing the day-to-day activities on a job site, and handling multi-million dollar contracts and scopes. Eric has completed several OSHA certification courses and is a graduate of the M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction at the University of Florida.
| Shawn Epp | Project Engineer/Pre-Construction Specialist |
With over eleven years experience in the construction industry, Shawn’s experience includes pre-construction services, estimating, field foreman, facilities coordinator, purchasing specialist and project engineer. Shawn has experience in commercial and residential construction applications from single family homes to retail and offices. While working in the residential market, Shawn performed the plan review for all of the company’s model homes nationwide, that ranged from multi-family buildings to 5,000 sq. ft. semi custom homes. Shawn holds an Associate of Science degree from Valencia Community College and an OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification.

Jean graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She has worked in the accounting field for over thirty years with various companies in the restaurant industry and with CPA firms and defense contractors.

Chris has over five years of experience in architecture and the construction industry. His experience includes carpentry tradesman, pre-construction services, architectural technician, CADD technician, permit expeditor and project engineer. Chris currently holds an Associates Degree in Building Construction from Valencia Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Everglades University.

Carl has more than twenty-one years experience in the design and construction industries. His experience includes carpentry tradesman, pre-construction services, architectural technician, CADD technician, project manager assistant and superintendent. Carl specializes in commercial and residential construction applications including multi-family, institutional, renovations, alterations, theme parks, and retail. He holds degrees from Valencia Community College, Florida Technical College, the Maryland Drafting Institute and has an OSHA-10 hour Construction Certification.

Albert has over thirty-two years experience in the construction industry. His experience includes carpentry journeyman and superintendent. Al specializes in commercial and residential construction applications including multi-family, single family homes, warehouses, restaurants, retail, office and industrial. Al is a licensed Certified Building Contractor, and has an OSHA 10-hour Construction Certification.

Keith has more than eighteen years experience in the commercial construction industry. Experience includes project foreman, project engineer, estimating assistant, and superintendent. Keith specializes in commercial projects including retail, office and religious facilities, and holds an OSHA-10 hour Construction Certification.
